Assessment

With all new customers for all services, we will first schedule a meet and greet to get to know each other, and all dogs must complete a temperament assessment prior to using any of the NBAI services.

Behaviour

All dogs must be non-aggressive. Guardians will need to certify that their dog(s) have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember that your dog will be spending time with other dogs and that their safety and health is our main concern.

Health

The health of our four-legged clients is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, dogs must be free of any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other animals in our facility. Any dog that has been ill with a communicable condition will require a veterinarian certificate of good health prior to booking services with us.

Medication

We are happy to give medication, but do require a Medication Form to be completed each time your dog is in our care. All medication must be in its original container. The NBAI centre will give the medications as instructed by you, but our staff has not been specially trained to treat your dog’s medical condition. We do not accept dogs that require medical treatment beyond the dispensing of medication (i.e. drains, bandage changes, suture removal, etc.).

Spay / Neuter

Dogs seven months of age or older MUST be spayed or neutered prior to attending the NBAI daycare.

Special Needs & Medical Care

NBAI recognizes that some of our guests may have special needs. Clients must identify any special requirements with us when making a reservation, including but not limited to: medications, supplements, special meal preparation, extra feeding times, daily brushing, puppy care, and senior care (additional charges may apply).

Vaccinations

Dogs must be free of fleas and ticks and on a veterinarian approved flea prevention program from June through November. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations. These vaccinations include Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parvovirus, Bordetella and Rabies for dogs. Guardians are required to provide veterinarian certification. Please allow a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours to pass between giving your dog these vaccinations and using any No Bones About It services. If at any time your dog is found to have fleas or ticks, we will provide the appropriate flea or tick removal treatment at your expense.

Emergency Care

Unfortunately this could happen. Should your dog happen to require medical attention we will do everything we can to provide the right treatment for your dog in a timely manner. In the event that we are unable to reach you in a timely manner for whatever reason, we reserve the right to take your pet to the nearest veterinarian at the cost of $25.00 per hour .

Promotions

Any third party promotions is subject to NBAI services’ approval. Promotions are applicable to new customers only that have not used any of NBAI  services before, unless otherwise specified.

NBAI Daycare

We strive to provide a safe, cozy and stimulating environment for your pets.

All our guests are closely monitored and supervised to ensure everyone in our pack gets along and has fun. Excessive barking, excessive mounting (humping), excessive urination, aggressive play, plaything possession, guarding and bullying may lead to NBAI refusing admittance to our daycare.

Please understand, this is to ensure the safety of all our members, canine and humans alike.

We will do our best to try and integrate him/her in our group and will always take the precaution of separating the offending dog from the group when necessary. We will communicate any untoward behaviour with you and work with you to improve their behaviour so they can fully enjoy their experience.

Age Eligibility

‘Youngsters’ are welcome to join NBAI  two weeks after completing their second series of DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvovirosis/Parainfluenza) vaccinations which are usually given at 12 weeks of age and Bordatella (for Kennel Cough). Pups 16 weeks of age or older require a Rabies vaccination.

NBAI Centre Safety

NBAI strives to provide a social, healthy and safe environment. Due to this we reserve the right to refuse admittance to any dog that does not meet our health and behavior requirements and for which we do not have updated signed forms, vaccinations and information on file. Any dogs that do not follow our ‘behaviour etiquette’ may be separated from their friends to give them a chance to calm down before rejoining the group.

Suspension or expulsion may be necessary if bad behavior persists.

Reservations and cancellations

NBAI daycare reservations are suggested, so please call or text us at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have available space. Should you not reserve a spot, space will be on a first come first serve basis. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours or there will be full cancellation fee of daily daycare rate.

NBAI team members may photograph or video the client’s pet(s) and use these photos/recordings for marketing and promotional purposes without any liability or obligation by the client.
